WASHINGTON: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi met US National Security Advisor Susan Rice in Washington on Friday.
During the meeting, Fatemi briefed Rice, that the Indian forces are continuously violating ceasefire at Line of Control (LoC)
Fatemi further added that innocent people are being killed due to the human rights violations by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
Rice expressed her concern over Pakistan-India situation and acknowledged the efforts made by Pakistan towards peace and stability in the region. She further added that US wants a dialogue between Pakistan and India to solve their ongoing issues.
It is pertinent to mention that Fatemi is in US where he will be meeting officials from both the Obama and Trump administration. ;
