ritish rulers to enslave the local people.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the firs
t modern police repor
ting centre in Thatta, he said we are an independent nation as we should amend the police laws to make citizen-friendly. “If we failed to facilitate our own people, history would not forgive us,” he added.
He sought a change in present policing culture and root out corruption from the police system. He said the department was determined to change the Thana culture and for this reason more police repor

es would be opened in different cities and towns of Sindh.
He said overall 136 police repor
ting centr
es would be established in Sindh and out of them 50 in Hyderabad alone. DIG Hyderabad KhadimHussain Rind and o
