KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain and pace bowler Wasim Akram said he has never seen a better captain than Imran Khan in the world, let alone Pakistan.
“I have worked with Misbahul Haq during PSL and he is a very good captain but there is no comparison between him and Imran Khan,” Wasim said during a morning show on a local news channel.
He said that he has never seen a better captain than Imran Khan in the world.
“Although Misbah has better records but when it comes to Imran Khan I have never seen a better captain than him,” he said. Wasim added that it was useless to compare the two as Imran was an aggressive captain while Misbah is exactly his opposite.
Recently, PCB chief Shaharyar Khan stirred a controversy by downplaying Imran Khan’s achievement while lauding Misbahul Haq as a much better captain.
